Adult enough for questions about the location of my future husband but not adult enough to have no curfew. Stuck between too young and old enough. The importance of growing in an accepting community.
always read these like a younger sibling listening to a rant by their eldest . . . saw the email and practically fell to my knees i love you and your words ! all media recs taken as usual 🫶🏾
I’m literally obsessed with that analogy😭 thank you so much for giving this a read omg and please let me know if you watch/read anything I recommended. I’d love to know your thoughts!
this was a great post and I found myself reflecting while reading this post. Very relatable for myself currently, since I felt like I am going through similar experiences but as a 26 year old instead. I also placed a hold via the library on some of the books you recommended! I also notice myself that lately I've been seeking out for more mature themes in books in the fiction world, books that are relatable, but didn't know how to put that into words.
I definitely feel like our 20s are just a constant process of reminding ourselves (and those around us) that despite the fact that we’re no longer children, we’re so slightly new at the whole adulting thing. It’s all about giving grace to ourselves, I think! Thank you so much for reading and I hope you enjoy the books I recommended <3
